Tools from the Gottmans

The Gottmans, Julie and John, have been researching, writing, educating, and supporting couples for decades. Their early work was based on research predicting the success of married couples. Since then their work has grown based on both research and the implementation of tools to support healthier marriages and partnerships.

In my own work and study of the Gottman’s research, literature and methodologies, I often integrate their tools into sessions.

Below is a list of some of the tools, books, and other Gottman resources that I have found particularly helpful:

While these are just a few offerings, in our work together we will explore and integrate many other techniques and interventions that will best support your partnership and relationship.
